Families: An Important Part of The Out-of-Door Academy Experience

Family participation in a student's educational process is essential. The Out-of-Door Academy believes that an inclusive, collaborative environment encompassing parents, staff, and students in the Out-of-Door Academy community yields many benefits for those involved.

In addition to focusing on clear communications between parents, teachers, and students and encouraging parent participation, the Out-of-Door Academy community sponsors a variety of programs to support and assist parents in their efforts to provide an extraordinary educational experience for their child.

If you are a current parent of an Out-of-Door student, we invite you to log in today and personalize your view of the school's website. Thanks to the support of the Parent Association, this password-protected area gives you access to information which can only be viewed by current Out-of-Door families. Some of the features include customized calendars of school events, bookmarks to teachers' webpages, the latest news from the Parent Association, and updated contact information in the online family directory.
