Welcome to The Out-of-Door Academy. I hope our web site will better acquaint you with the people and programs that make Out-of-Door such a unique and special school. Since 1924, Out-of-Door Academy has offered an innovative program focused on educating the whole child in a caring and supportive community. An Out-of-Door education is defined by the pursuit of excellence and a commitment to build character through a balanced program of academics, athletics and the arts. 100% of our graduates have matriculated to four year colleges and universities across the country. In 2006, Out-of-Door Academy was recognized as a Cum Laude Society School, a distinction reserved for the top 1% of all secondary schools in the United States.
At Out-of-Door Academy we make decisions based on what is in the best interest of our students. From Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade, Out-of-Door students thrive in an intimate environment characterized by small classes, excellent instruction and individualized attention. Our dedicated and talented faculty are expert teachers who are focused on the personal growth and success of each student.
