The primary role of The Out-of-Door Academy Department of Academic Services and Counseling is to support and nurture all students to meet their highest personal and academic potential.
Our Academic Services and Counseling department utilizes a system-wide approach to meet the unique academic and personal needs of every student. This approach includes group discussions as well as one-to-one meetings with students, faculty, and parents. The team designs developmentally appropriate programming aimed at enhancing school culture, which is presented to students regularly through advisory and wellness sessions. Timely societal topics are approached with consideration for the social and emotional maturity of students in each grade level. The department is available to advocate for and support all students on both campuses. See our Wellness page for additional information on how we support the social and emotional needs of students.
