Support Our School

Annual giving, in many ways, is the most valuable tradition at ODA. These gifts support the unparalleled educational opportunities available to our students. These experiences, like those innovative facets of the education program founded 95 years ago, are what make ODA one of the premier independent schools in the country.
Thank you for your interest in learning how you can support The Out-of-Door Academy. Our school's fiscal vitality is a result of those who have offered support throughout the school’s storied history through the Annual Fund, the Banyan Ball/Bash, Capital Giving, Corporate Partners, and volunteerism. These individuals and organizations have helped us establish a culture of philanthropy and volunteerism.

Our mission can only be accomplished with assistance from every member of the Out-of-Door family—from trustees and faculty to parents, grandparents, and alumni. Independent schools rely on strong charitable giving programs to thrive.

The federal government encourages philanthropy by allowing charitable gifts to be deducted from taxable income, and Out-of-Door's non-profit status enables supporters to take advantage of these tax benefits.
