Athletics

The Athletics program serves as a source of pride within The Out-of-Door Academy community. We encourage all student-athletes to participate on one or more of the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school athletic teams that compete in the navy and white of the Thunder.

We believe the opportunity for participation in a wide variety of student-selected activities is a vital part of the student educational experience. Such participation is always a privilege that carries with it responsibilities to the school, the activity, other students, the community, and the athletes themselves. These experiences contribute to the development of learning skills and emotional patterns that enable the student-athlete to achieve the maximum benefit from his or her education.

All The Way

Consistent with The Out-of-Door Academy's mission, philosophy, and core values, the Athletics program is one of excellence!

Dedication & Integrity

ODA students bring the same dedication and integrity to athletics that they take to their classrooms and performance venues.

Character, Friendship, & Leadership

The field, the court, and the pool- these are arenas where character is built, friendships are forged, and leadership is developed.

Sportsmanship

Teamwork, sportsmanship, and the display of ethical behavior are integral to the sucess of a student-athlete.
