TAMPA
Austin Kessler threw a one-hitter and struck out eight batters and the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder scored eight runs in the fifth inning to beat Tampa Catholic 10-0 in a game called in the sixth inning because of the mercy rule.
Alex DiMAre Mason Kolbe and P.J. Fincher each had a pair of hits and Julian Brown had a double and two RBI to help ODA improve its record to 15-6.
