Out-of-Door lands a solid win over Santa Fe Catholic.
LAKELAND — The Out of Door Academy Thunder rushed for 330 yards in a 33-0 victory over Santa Fe Catholic in front of 200 fans at Santa Fe Catholic Friday night.
The Thunder were led by junior Colin Castro, who rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns in just three quarters of action. One of his scores included a 99-yard run.
Santa Fe (1-2) could not get anything going on offense as quarterback Logan Wright was constantly pressured and was sacked seven times.
“Our defense played good in the first quarter,” Crimson Hawks coach Joe Faiola said. “But the pulling guard killed us in the last two quarters.”
Santa Fe continues their homestand next Friday as they will play host to Bishop McLaughlin.
