On Wednesday morning, the Petrik Thunderdome was filled with Upper School students and faculty as six senior student-athletes signed their commitment letters to a college or university. The Class of 2019 members were surrounded by proud parents, siblings, and coaches as they took the next step toward furthering their education. The seniors signed on to schools located along the east coast, ranging from right here in Florida to Boston, MA.
Athletic Director Coach Kippie Crouch attended the signing with a smile in her eyes. “We are extremely proud of all of our student-athletes. The six we celebrated today and the handful we will celebrate in February have made huge impacts on the competitiveness of our athletics programs. They have changed the playing fields and we are grateful of their representation of our School community. Honoring them today for their commitments to their sports is celebrating their work ethics, determination, and perseverance. Congratulations on superb accomplishments!”
