A Message from Laura Murphy, the Director of Admissions & Alumni Relations
The highlight of my year has been reconnecting with so many of you and getting to know other SK Alums who were here before my tenure at Out-of-Door. Whether it has been through networking events, playdates, social media, or email, it has been wonderful to hear about all the deep connections you have to our school. I have worked in, and visited many schools during my years in education, and I have yet to find a community like ours. Aren’t we fortunate?
As alumni of The Out-of-Door Academy, you should be proud of your legacy. Our school continues to grow, strengthen, and evolve to provide the best education to the students in Sarasota and Manatee Counties (we were voted Best Private School in the Herald-Tribune this year for both counties)! Through this newsletter, I hope to give you a taste of what is happening on campus. It is hard to pick just a few stories that would be of interest to everyone, so I encourage you to explore the News section of our website.
