Homecoming

Homecoming at The Out-of-Door Academy is an exciting weekend full of events for students, families, and alumni! The entire school community comes together for the festivities, which include a family picnic, football game, golf tournament, and the Homecoming Dance.

  • All-School Family Picnic

    Friday, October 11, 5:00 - 7:00 pm
    Petrik Thunderdome & the Quad, Uihlein Campus
    Complimentary dinner and activities for the entire family. Families can enjoy a delicious meal, face painting, bounce houses, and great company! Vegetarian meal option will also available.

  • Varsity Football Game

    Friday, October 11, 7:00 pm
    Thunder Stadium, Uihlein Campus
    Cheer the Thunder on to victory as  they face off against Carrollwood Day School. Admission for adults is $5 and non-ODA students is $3. ODA students and alumni are FREE! This is a "blue" out - wear blue to support the Thunder.

    We anticipate a large crowd will be on hand to cheer on the Thunder. Additional parking will be available at Lakewood Ranch Baptist Church, across the street from Thunder Stadium, with ODA shuttles continuously running to and from the game.

  • Thunder Golf Tournament

    Saturday, October 12, 7:30 am
    Esplanade Golf & Country Club, 12825 Malachite Drive, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211
    The Thunder Athletic Club is hosting its annual Thunder Golf Tournament at Esplanade Golf & Country Club. Your donation to our golf tournament helps supplement Out-of-Door's athletics programs.
