All activities and field trips are subject to change. We will be sending a weekly letter with specific details for each week. Space is limited – early registration is recommended!

*Extended Care is available for Camp Banyan at a rate of $50 per week, from 8:00-9:00 am and 3:00-5:00 pm. Prompt pick up is expected. Please note: There will be a late fee added for late pick-ups of $15 per quarter hour. There is no drop-in care available. All students must be pre-registered for camp and Extended Care in order to participate.
Week 1: Treasure Island (June 13-17)
Ahoy pirates in training! Welcome to Treasure Island where discoveries will be made and treasures will be found. We will begin our adventure on “Siesta Island” where campers will design their team pirate flags, build boats, and create their own pirate booty. Our adventure will continue at Desoto Park where campers will have a scavenger hunt to find the Banyan treasure. Join us for a week of adventure and games.
Week 2: Blast to the Past–Retro Week (June 20-24)
It’s a Groovy week at Camp Banyan where campers will travel back in time. We will begin our journey in the 50s where root beer floats were all the rage. In the 60s campers will create tie dye bandanas and then travel to the 70s which will take us roller skating. We will end the week in the 80s with a neon color run, Rubik’s Cube challenge, and Pac-Man race. Come travel through time at Camp Banyan’s Retro Week.
Week 3: Disney–Dream Builders (June 27-July 1)
When you wish upon a star...Disney is coming to Camp Banyan! We will celebrate Disney each day by letting our imagination soar. Campers will have a luau like Lilo and Stitch and make magic carpet treats like Aladdin. We will build volcanoes from Moana and Maui, explore Selby Gardens like the Swiss Family Robinson, and become the Camp Banyan Mighty Ducks by building our own hockey sticks. If you can dream it, you can do it at Camp Banyan.
Week 4: Around the World–A Worldwide Adventure (July 11-15)
Stamp your passports as we embark on a week-long adventure around the globe! Campers will travel to all seven continents on Camp Banyan Airlines. Our first stop will be South America where campers will discover the ancient Mayan ruins by creating pyramids. Our adventure will take us to Africa where we will visit the zoo. During the last leg of our trip, we will travel to Asia and Australia where we will have a boomerang challenge and create our own “fire” breathing dragon.
Week 5: Camp Out (July 18-22)
Welcome to the great outdoors where campers will “camp out” at Camp Banyan. Campers will kick off the week by creating their own solar ovens to roast s’mores and will earn scout badges for every survival mission they complete. We will make campfire cookies, glowing camping lanterns, and learn how to catch a fish from a local boy scout troop.
