Out-of-Door and Into the World
The Out-of-Door Academy College Counseling program helps our students prepare for what lies beyond our doors. With a dedicated team of three full-time counselors, our College Counseling program was developed to deconstruct and demystify the complex and nuanced process of college admissions. By cultivating a strong relationship with ODA families and staying on the forefront of the latest insights regarding curriculum, testing, college selection, and matriculation, Out-of-Door students are positioned to reach as far as their abilities and aspirations will take them.

With acceptances to 150 schools across 34 states and four countries including China, the UAE, the United Kingdom, and Canada, the Class of 2026 has demonstrated an extraordinary college reach. Their acceptances include leading public and private universities, highly selective liberal arts colleges, internationally recognized institutions, and top programs in business, engineering, the arts, and technology. Members of the class earned spots at Ivy League institutions, world renowned universities such as Duke University, University of Chicago, and New York University, as well as prestigious technological institutions including Georgia Institute of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
