Dear Prospective Families,

A transformative educational journey. A dedication to inquiry, discovery, and innovation. A commitment that extends beyond the traditional classroom.

When you become an Out-of-Door family, these are the commitments we make to you and your child.

Recognizing that education is a dynamic force that shapes individuals into lifelong learners and steadfast contributors to society, our goal is to ignite a passion for learning. Our educators aspire to cultivate an environment where students actively engage with knowledge, using it as a catalyst for personal growth.

Beyond academic achievement, Out-of-Door has been a leader in the holistic development of students for over a century, with the aim of creating healthy, resilient, and empowered adults.  Immersive arts programming unlocks creativity and critical thinking, while a focus on athletics fosters physical and cognitive health.

Underpinned by a focus on serving the broader community, an Out-of-Door student will leave our institution recognizing their strength to create change beyond their own backyard.

Join us on a transformational educational journey at The Out-of-Door Academy.

We look forward to partnering with your family to craft a powerful experience for your student – one that provides the skills, values, and mindset needed to thrive in our ever-changing world.

Sincerely,

Dr. Debra Otey
