In 2015, ODA initiated the Declamations program to strengthen the public speaking skills of students in grades 9-12. Now in its fourth year, this program has considerably improved the students’ oration skills.
In 2015, ODA initiated the Declamations program to strengthen the public speaking skills of students in grades 9-12. Students work on their assigned pieces in their English class and present three speeches to their peers over the course of a semester. Now in its fourth year, this program has shown to considerably improve the students’ oration skills. We look forward to continuing the program each year, and are proud of all the students for their progress, as well as the winners from each of the four grade levels this year.
