ODA Seniors Give Back at Mixon Fruit Farms

The Class of 2026 rolled up their sleeves and made a difference at Mixon Fruit Farms as part of the Alliance Gives Back volunteer initiative with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance.

Fifty-six seniors spent the day clearing and cleaning the historic property—once home to the iconic Mixon Swirl ice cream cone and now a new Manatee County community space. This special service day marked the first in ODA’s new grade-level service initiative, giving students a hands-on way to strengthen community connections and live out ODA’s RISER values.
