Out-of-Door’s Inaugural and Centennial Founders Week of Service was a memorable celebration of community and giving back. Throughout the week, students and educators participated in activities designed to honor, support, and engage with others. The Veterans Day celebration set a reflective tone, allowing students to express gratitude for our veterans' sacrifices. Midweek, Middle and Upper School students connected with local nonprofit organizations at the Community Engagement Fair, gaining insight into how they can contribute meaningfully to community efforts.
The week concluded with a school-wide Day of Service, where students from all grades participated in projects benefiting various community needs. From assembling care packages to creating items for those in need, students experienced the power of service firsthand. This impactful week honored Out-of-Door’s 100-year legacy and highlighted our commitment to building a strong, compassionate community.
